A Note About Pakistan- (The Right To Keep And Bear Arms) Self Defence-

In America we have the right to keep and bear arms. We have a right to defend ourselves. Do the people in Pakistan have a right to defend themselves?

The right to assembly and to form militias that protected towns from bandits was also a part of defence that was afforded by the Constitution.
Armies had no right to house troops in houses, or take over farms.
Eminent domain, when necessary, was ordered by Congress. Sometimes in an emergency martial law was ordered by governors.

Second Amendment to the United States Constitution

  • The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects the right of individual Americans to keep and bear arms regardless of service in a militia. The right is not unlimited and does not prohibit all regulation of either firearms or similar devices. State and local governments are limited to the same extent as the federal government from infringing this right. The Second Amendment was adopted on December 15, 1791, as part of the first ten amendments comprising the Bill of Rights.
